Five runners from DK Running Club took part in the final Rock ‘n’ Roll half marathon event in Liverpool on Sunday 24th October.

The event has been in the calendar for a number of years but 2021 would be the final time for the multiple race event in the City of Liverpool.

Starting at the Royal Albert Dock, the half marathon course takes in some of the city’s most iconic buildings and cultural landmarks including the famous Liver Building, The Beatles Statue, The Cavern Club, Chinese Arch, Penny Lane and Sefton Park before the home straight on the promenade alongside the River Mersey, finishing at the Liverpool Arena on the waterfront.

Richard Tonks completed the course in 1:35.48, followed by Andrew Robinson-Morris in 1:56.58 and his wife Jayne in 3:09.44. Lorraine Wassell and Stephen Marsh stayed together on the course and finished in times of 3:28.16 and 3:28.18 respectively.
