About the Race

The LCP 10k (formerly the DK 10k) is a Gold standard race and is run every first Wednesday in May. It was started in 1986 by Dr. Dick Blackburn.

The race has grown in popularity over the years and with a capacity of 1100 runners is now one of the biggest midweek 10k Road race in the Midlands.

Enjoy a great race in picturesque country lanes, well marshalled and a great friendly atmosphere.

This year’s event will be held on Wednesday 1st May 2019 at 19.15hrs.

Online entries are still open but you would have to collect your race pack before or on race day from the Rugby Club.

You can also come to the club on the following dates to register, pay and collect your race packs : 
Tuesday 23rd April, Thursday 25th April and Tuesday 30th April between 7pm and 8.30pm.
