>> LAKE VYRNWY HALF MARATHON - Sunday September 15th 1pm. We have a club coach arranged and 35 places. Please email Ingrid with your details - Name/Brit Athl No./ DOB/Age on race day vividusfitness@aol.com.
Coach pick up at DKRC at 9am to return from Lake Vyrnwy 4.30 - 5pm same as last year and arrive back at club in the evening at 8ish. (possible quick pub/toilet stop on way back)
We have to allow time for the picnic & drinks after the race - so if we can add to the website BYO Picnic Chairs,Picnic & drinks & homemade cakes.
All DK entries on my list will have auto place on the coach and then anyone else has to let me know, e.g. family supporters (some have already done this).

It’s all change at the top with Phil Smith taking the lead in the men’s Grand Prix after a blistering performance at Lilleshall bagging him a near maximum 38 points to take his total to 194. John Gould loses top spot despite another good performance in Shropshire and Mark Judge is gradually chipping away at their lead in 3rd place. Simon Hughes and Dave Hickman are breathing down their necks so it could all change. In the women’s Lorna Bird is bagging big points and is heading the field on 225 from Tracey Nicholls on 126 and Helen Tromans, who despite injury is still up there in the places. With Jokers still to be played and only the eight best scores to count there’s still a lot to play for. No need to start engraving Phil and Lorna’s names on the trophies just yet.
